Yesterday, I received a splash message on my Instagram to please check my Instagram on web. I didn't check it out immediately because actually I'm expecting for Instragram to actually implement it.

And now, I was surprised! I love the overlook of the Instagram profile. It uses grid and it uses infinite scrolling. I also loved the style that when I hover on the thumbnails I can see the date and how many likes and comments the picture has. Most of all I like the effect and the overall look and feel.

I always remember this Chinese story...

There is a Chinese story of a farmer who used an old horse to till his fields. One day, the horse escaped into the hills and when the farmer's neighbors sympathized with the old man over his bad luck, the farmer replied, "Bad luck? Good luck? Who knows?"

A week later, the horse returned with a herd of horses from the hills and this time the neighbors congratulated the farmer on his good luck. His reply was, "Good luck? Bad luck? Who knows?"

Then, when the farmer's son was attempting to tame one of the wild horses, he fell off its back and broke his leg. Everyone thought this very bad luck. Not the farmer, whose only reaction was, "Bad luck? Good luck? Who knows?"

Some weeks later, the army marched into the village and conscripted every able-bodied youth they found there. When they saw the farmer's son with his broken leg, they let him off. Now was that good luck or bad luck? Who knows?

Everything that seems on the surface to be an evil may be a good in disguise. And everything that seems good on the surface may really be an evil. So we are wise when we leave it to God to decide what is good fortune and what misfortune, and thank Him that all things turn out for good with those who love Him.

Biglaan akong napasubo sa photoshoot na inorganized ng SG-Grupophotograpika sa Chinese Garden kahapon. Sa totoo lang hindi ko talaga alam kung paano ako magsisimula. Ang gamit na meron ako ay mga personal na pangangailangan ko lang. Wala akong primer, liquid foundation, mineral powder, concealer at iba pa.



Sinabi ko na din naman yun sa mga admin ng grupo na wala pa kong gamit pero ang sagot sakin, "kaya mo yan". O, eto na nag-gow ako subok subok, sa totoo lang kahit sanay akong make-upan ang sarili ko ng tamang make-up lang may natutunan ako kahapon at isa yun sa di ko malilimutang simula.

Late na kame nakadating at talagang kinakabahan na din ako, napagod na din ako sa layo ng nilakad namin dahil di namin alam saan ba ang main entrance ng Chinese Garden. Pero parang okay na din, sobrang late na at gusto ko na din makita ang mga modelo. Waah! Pakiramdam ko talaga non ay sasabak ako sa giyerang walang armas.

Matagal ako bago nakapag-simula, iniisip ko pa kasi kung paano at anong gagamitin ko. Una kong nakuha si Liz, maputi si Liz at mukhang tsinita. Sayang lang wala akong false eye-lashes naka-contact lens sila, teka dalawa nga pala ang modelo at pareho silang maputi at tsinita. Mas maganda kung naka-false eyelashes sana, sayang.

Pangalawa, si Cathy. Sweet si Cathy magsalita at gaya ni Liz nakakwentuhan ko na din siya. Gusto ko maging colorful sana pero Urban Decay Naked Palette ang meron ako buti nalang meron akong eyeliner na nagblend sa black at may eye-shadow na extra si Liz.

Nakaka-aliw din pala mag-makeup, nakakakwentuhan mo kahit nun mo palang nakita at nakilala. Cowboy ung theme ni Liz at cute na pang-summer ang outfit ni Cathy.

Noong una, pa-browse browse ng mga pictures, join ng make-up class at makakilala ng mga MUA. Ngayon feeling MUA na haha sa ngayon plano ko mag-ipon na muna ng gamit talaga tapos make-upan ang sarili? Testing tapos put into application. Haha :)

Salamat sa pag-invite ng grupo, sa mga nag-ggwapuhan at nag-gagandahang photographers, sa mga magagandang models lalo na sa pagsundo samin ni Kuya Rain, sa masarap na food na luto ni Kuya Bri, sa mga nakakwentuhan at bagong nakilala. Sa ngayon eto palang yung mga shots na meron ako. Thanks guys! :)
